After the loss to Stanford last week, there were very few people that had confidence in the Wildcats. After all, Arizona was certainly supposed to be able to beat the Cardinal and many felt it would be the start of a winning streak for the Wildcats.
Instead, Arizona played its worst game of the season, effectively putting just about everyone on the hot seat with the UA football fans.
One week later and you would be hard pressed not to be complimentary of this same Arizona team. The UA could have quit when it found itself down by two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, but the Wildcats stuck around and were able to come back at a time when not many likely believed it could happen.
For the past two weeks or so, Willie Tuitama has taken plenty of criticism, and rightfully so. He was adequate at best and the talk of a quarterback change was quite justified, especially with Arizona having so much to gain or lose with every game. The coaching staff gave him a chance and he responded, having the best game of his career.
