With a bye week to rest, Oregon remained in control of the Pac-10 race while both USC and Arizona State stayed immediately behind them in the Pac-10 standings, hoping to vie for a possible additional BCS bowl game berth should Oregon be brought into the national championship game. Personnel - Offensive lineman Tim Mattran will be able to play next week against Notre Dame and receiver Richard Sherman has been reinstated.
