Andrew Taglianetti (5' 11" 175) helped Pittsburgh Central Catholic to perfect 16-0 record and a Class AAAA state championship. The Vikings finished their year ranked No. 7 in the country by Rivals High.

Along the way Taglianetti, who was considered a bit of a sleeper going into the season, also picked up a number of scholarship offers including one from Pitt.
