The nation's best football team recently landed the commitment of the nation's top prep cornerback.

A cornerback that said he will be starting school this spring for the Tigers.

Patrick Johnson is a five-star prospect according to the latest Rivals.com rankings. The 6-1, 193-pound Ely High School prospect is rated as the nation's third-best overall player and is the highest ranked player to have announced his collegiate decision according to those rankings.

"I won't be there (at LSU) on Monday," Johnson said of his enrollment status.
