A snippet in a blog in the Nashville (Tenn.) City Paper drew concern from West Virginia recruitniks recently when it surmised that stretch-the-field wide receiver J.D. Woods may be having second thoughts of his earlier commitment to the Mountaineers.

Woods Saturday afternoon eased everyone's concerns when he said he was rock-solid on the Gold and Blue and planned to be in those colors, hopefully come June.
