Players focusing on winter workouts

JayhawkSlant.com With more then a month removed from their Orange Bowl win, and one month until spring practice kicks into gear, the focus of the campus is more on the hardwood then on the gridiron. That doesn't mean the football team isn't hard at work.
Last season during winter conditioning, Mangino divided the team into groups and had the players compete amongst themselves in different activities from agility drills to bowling. The teams could gain points by volunteering for community service and lose points for skipping class.
