Chow watches QB's
It was a big day for two four-star quarterbacks that fate has somehow entwined. Not only do Richard Brehaut (6-3, 205, 4.8) from Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) Los Osos and Josh Nunes (6-4, 207, 4.85) from Upland, Calif., compete in the same league, but were League co-Offensive Players of the Year and yesterday both signal callers threw in front of UCLA offensive coordinator Norm Chow in hope to earn that elusive quarterback offer from the Bruins.
Both players lived up to their reputations as two of the best quarterbacks from the Golden State. Because both athletes were so good, Chow didn't pull the trigger and offer either quarterback.
Now Brehaut and Nunes will be taking their competition on the road and will take part in Steve Clarkson's event this weekend in Santa Barbara where they will be throwing in front of UCLA head coach Rick Neuheisel.
Neuheisel is allowed to watch both players up close because his son will be also participating in the event.
