Crawford coming to WVU for another look
Each afternoon, former Huntington quarterback Craig Crawford piles into a car with his father ,Craig Sr., and drives to Cross Lanes to participate in Nitro's off-season training camp.
Crawford and his mother Cheryl said Thursday that the transfer from Huntington to the school which boasts the state of West Virginia's most prolific passing history came because it might get the 6-foot-2, 205-pound athlete more exposure. They also liked the class size of the Class 3A school in comparison to Huntington's.
"At Nitro, they have a lab (study hall) which meets from 7:10 to 7:40 a.m. every school day and I told my husband that C.J. is going to be in that lab at least three times a week," Cheryl Crawford said with a giggle.
