MORGANTOWN-Against overcast skies and humid conditions, the second day of the West Virginia University Passing League 7-on-7 competition on the Evansdale campus continued this morning.

Of a field of 48 high school teams, which began competition on Friday afternoon, the finalists were starting to separate themselves by 1 p.m. on Saturday. The playoffs will continue through 6 p.m. on the upper grass practice field behind the Indoor Practice Field, the IPF, and on Mountaineer Field.

York (Pa.) William Penn, Baltimore Dunbar, Martinsburg, Jefferson, Stafford (Va.) Brooke Point, University, and Bethel Park (Pa.) had distinguished themselves thus far.
