Q&A: Anderson anxious to play
Redshirt freshman running back Victor Anderson sat out his freshman season watching a Louisville backfield filled with players. The all-time leading rusher at St. Xavier H.S. in Louisville (4,008 yards over his career) is ready to get back in the lineup. Cardinalsports.com was there on Media Day as the 5-foot-9, 182-pound prospect talked to local reporters about how close he came to transferring, what he thinks of the upcoming season, and where he sees himself fitting into the new offense...
What are your expectations for this season?
"I'm just anxious. That's the main thing I am right now. I'm just so ready to play football that I don't know what to say. It's been so long. I'm not used to sitting out and watching, so my time has come and now I'm ready to play."
