On Monday Mark Mangino spoke to the media at the Big 12 coaches teleconference. Mangino discussed the Jayhawk's running game and reviewed the South Florida game.

Mangino's opening statement

This past Friday night we lost to a good South Florida team at South Florida. Offensively, Todd Reesing threw the ball extremely well. Kerry Meier had a good night catching the ball. We were able to put up good numbers on offense, but not enough to win the game. Defensively we are not as sharp as we normally are. They are fundamental things that we can correct and will get corrected.
