Five-star defensive tackle looking west

USCFootball.com Detroit (Mich.) five-star defensive tackle William Campbell re-opened his recruitment in September when he publicly de-committed from Michigan.
Upon his announcement, assumptions regarding USC's involvement in his recruitment hit the World Wide Web like a virtual meteor shower.
For the past two years, USC has signed the top college football prospect in Michigan. In 2007, Muskegon five-star receiver Ronald Johnson became the first player from Michigan to play for Pete Carroll. This past fall, Detroit four-star defensive end Nick Perry officially became a Trojan.
So naturally, Campbell would follow suit.
