Before he came to West Virginia, Daquan Hargrett thought the school and the state were a forbidden place with nothing to do.

Now that he's back, that opinion has changed.

"My expectation was nothing like how it was, once I got there. The only thing I knew (was) coming from down in the bottom (of the country, geographically), it is real hot. I thought it was going to be real cold up there. I thought it was going to be a compact town; not that many people going around. I thought it was going to be real laid back--a real country town with just a few places to go. My eyes were opened. I love it," said Hargrett Sunday night.
