Jackson 100-percent sure on State
If there was ever any doubt that Gabriel Jackson would be lining up for the Bulldogs next season it was cleared up with his official visit this weekend.
The 6-foot-4, 310-pound offensive tackle from Liberty, Miss., was one of 16 visitors on the Mississippi State campus this weekend.
"It went pretty good," Jackson said. "I enjoyed myself. "I knew that I was coming up there anyway but after coming up there this weekend I really knew 100-percent that is where I wanted to be."
Jackson said he enjoyed touring the newly opened Templeton Athletic Academic Center on his campus tour.
"We toured the campus and went to the new academic building," Jackson said. "I got to see what all I would like to major in."
Jackson plans on majoring in biological science.
He was also thrilled with the standing ovation the recruits received as they entered Humphrey Coliseum during the first media timeout of the basketball game on Saturday night.
