Visit felt like home to Stacy
I had a great time on the visit...it was everything i expected it to be...the coaching staff did a good job on welcoming me "home"...
I manage to have Larry Smith as my host. I was kinda excited being that we both are from Alabama. He basically showed me around campus and basically reminded me Vandy was a really great place to go to school. Athletic and Academic wise.
I roomed with Warren. We got to know each other really well, meeting each others families and getting that RB BOND with each other. Most likely, thats gonna be my future roommate..lol
I also got to talk to Eddie, Mason, Blake, Wesley, Justin, and they new commit Trey. Alot of the coaches thanked us for helping Trey commit also...it was alot of fun.
As far as the overrall visit, It went really well. It was good that i got to talk to some of the commits just to get a bond withmy future teammates. The coaching staff once again was amazing. What really stuck out was how the coaches really made you feel like a player already. I think that was really impressive.
Coach Johnson, Fisher , and Kitchings were great. They were the ones who greeted me wen i arrived. I mostly hung with coach kicthings..(me and warren) On our second day of the visit we actually sat down and watched film at our position meeting which was very exciting.
We had a academic meeting with Dean rusty McIntire. He was great. He basically went over academic standards as far the type classes we could take and all that other good stuff.
As far other colleges, there really wasnt anyone looking at me throughtout the season, mainly because i was a strong verbal with vandy, UAB sunt me a few letters but that was really about it. But once again, the visit was amazing, the staff, the people, and the university itself were all very impressive. Being that it was my one and only visit throughout the recruiting process, i had alot of fun.
