What are your plans for Signing Day?
I'm really not sure yet. I think I'll just be signing at school. We might have a small gathering at my high school. I really don't have any planned just yet.
What school finished second in your recruitment? Why?
I would say Minnesota. I really like their facilities and their new stadium. Honestly, I like what they have going right now, but it's been a dream of mine to play at Wisconsin. Obviously I'm happy with me decision.
What school, if any, continued to recruit you after your verbal commitment?
Purdue did a little bit, but not too much. It was pretty much done after I committed.
What school did you root for growing up? Why?
I've always been a Badger fan. I've always rooted for the Badgers. I was even a vendor at the stadium for a little bit, so I've always been a Badger fan.
What are some of your favorite television shows?
Rob & Big, Chappelle Show, those are some of my favorites.
If you could compare yourself to one NFL or NCAA player, who would it be? Why?
I'm going to say Joe Thomas, just because I'm the most familiar with him. I feel I'm pretty athletic for how big I am. Obviously I'm not even close to as good as him.
Who was your role model growing up? Why?
Growing up my role model was my Uncle John. He's a great guy, great to be around, and he's always making jokes. He's just a great guy to be around.
Do you have any hidden/secret talents?
I don't, I don't. I guess
I'm a good skier.
If you could be anyone in the world for one day, who would it be?
I would be Magnus Samuelsson. (Laughter) He's the world's strongest man, he's huge.
What is your favorite food/meal?
It would be a toss up between steak and wings.
What do you plan on studying at the University of Wisconsin? (Degree)?
I plan on going into business. I think general business right now but I'd like to work in management.
Who is the best player you faced at the high school level (someone you will always remember competing against)?
I would say Harold Boyd from Janesville Parker. He was a very strong kid, really competitive, and he played both ways. Playing against him as a junior was by far my toughest competition.
