Texas defensive end commits to Auburn
Auburn has picked up its second commitment of the day as one of Texas' top defensive prospects has given his verbal pledge to the Tigers.
Mansfield-Summitt strongside end Nosa Eguae, 6-foot-3, 244 pounds, committed to Auburn Monday after an in-school visit from several Tiger coaches. Brewton (Ala.) W.S. Neal four-star defensive tackle Jamar Travis switched his commitment from Southern Miss to Auburn earlier in the day.
Eguae chose the Tigers after narrowing his list to Auburn, Texas Tech and Minnesota. He committed to Colorado in September, but reopened his recruitment earlier this month. Eguae also claimed offers from UCLA, Kansas, Iowa, Iowa State, Purdue and Louisville among others.
