Wilson primed for big things
In high school at Sprague, Tony Wilson was not only a standout football player, but a stellar baseball player as well. In fact, many felt that baseball may be the direction that he would go in college, but things changed during the spring/summer camp circuit when football coaches saw him on the gridiron.
Portland State was the first to offer the hard hitting linebacker, but after an impressive showing at the Oregon State summer camp, Oregon State was the team Wilson had his eye on.
