Tall, athletic OL visits Auburn again
Auburn invited Buford (Ga.) lineman Kolton Houston to visit last weekend but he couldn't make it due to a family trip.
But the 6-foot-5, 270-pound made a point to stop by and check out Thursday's practice on his way home from the beach.
"It was a really good practice. I liked their tempo," Houston said.
Houston didn't get to spend much time with the AU coaches Thursday because he arrived just after the start of practice and had to leave before it ended.
But he did spend a lot of time with AU head coach Gene Chizik and offensive line coach Jeff Grimes when he attended AU's first Junior Day in March.
"Coach Grimes said they were really short on the offensive line," Houston said. "They need a lot more players.
"I definitely like Auburn. It's an SEC school. The SEC is a great conference. It definitely stands out for me."
