It's the opener of the Big Ten season and Saturday's contest between Minnesota and Northwestern (11 a.m. CT, Big Ten Network) at Ryan Field is a big one for both teams. The winner will be 3-1 and in good position in the Big Ten, while the loser could struggle to make a bowl game.
In 2007, these two teams went into triple overtime before Northwestern sneaked away with the win, and last season's matchup was decided on a Brendan Smith interception return for a touchdown with 12 seconds left. Don't be surprised if this one goes down to the wire, either.
