Joe Alleva's first year as LSU Athletics Director has been considered a success. Two facts have been continually reported since the Tigers baseball team captured the national championship a couple of weeks ago. First, all 20 LSU athletics teams participated in the postseason. That number includes nine men's teams and 11 women's teams.
