Lavar Edwards and DeAngelo Peterson were high school teammates at Desire Street Academy. Now, as members of the LSU football team, they are trying to earn playing time. Edwards is running with the No. 2 unit at defensive end, while Peterson is working at tight end behind starter Richard Dickson.
