Wide receiver Charone Peake has been to Athens so much during the recruiting process that he's lost track of exactly how many times he's been.
"I don't even remember," Peake said in an interview Saturday night with UGASports. "But yeah it's been a lot."
There's more to come.
After attending Georgia's 7-on-7 competition Thursday with the rest of his Dorman High teammates, Peake said he'll be back next Saturday for the annual Mark Richt camp.
Athens won't be the only destination for the 6-foot-3, 184-pound receiver who the Bulldogs hope to add to their Class of 2011.
Peake also plans to make another trip to Clemson this summer, and hopes to get to Florida, Southern Cal and North Carolina before classes at Dorman begin in August.
"All those schools are pretty much even for me right now," said Peake, who earned four-star status from Rivals.com as the nation's 91st-ranked player earlier this week.
Peake is still unsure when he will make a final decision.
"It might be before the season, it might be during the season," he said. "Right now I just don't know."
The Bulldogs certainly rolled out the red carpet for Peake during the 7-on-7 competition.
"Oh yeah, the (Georgia coaches) showed me a lot of love, they always do," said Peake. "I talked to Coach Richt a while before it started, and all the other coaches throughout the day."
Peake said Bulldog commitment Christian LeMay continues to make his weekly pitch.
"Christian keeps telling me he wants to be my quarterback; he tells me he wants to come with him to Georgia," Peake said. "We talk a lot, but he also tells me to go where my heart leads me."
