What a group of student-athletes the incoming class of 2006 turned out to be. Seven of the 20 newcomers played as a true freshman, and played well. That is a staggering statistic and surely not something we were used to during the Tom O'Brien regime. Before we talk about the redshirt freshmen most likely to impact in 2007, let's salute the true freshman for what they meant to the team last year and in future years.
1. DE Alex Albright - needs to continue to get bigger and struggled with some freshman mistakes early, but ended up having a very good season showing a lot of promise as a defensive end.
