Auburn leads for Palmetto State d-end
Richburg (S.C.) Lewisville defensive end Dion Foster made quite an impression during an unofficial visit to Auburn earlier this spring.
Foster's highlight tape was impressive enough to earn a verbal offer from Auburn assistant coach Terry Price. And it appears Auburn made an equally strong impression with Foster.
"Auburn is my No. 1 choice," said the 6-foot-4, 233-pounder. "They are my top school right now.
"Auburn is really nice. I like their athletic facilities. The weight room is really nice and I like the way they do their practices."
Foster, who runs a 4.73 40-yard dash, plans to return to Auburn this summer for a camp.
Foster lists his top four as Auburn, LSU, South Carolina and Georgia Tech. He also has a lot of interest in Oklahoma, Michigan and Clemson.
