Most of the top freshmen from the 2009-10 season didn't bother to stick around for their sophomore seasons.
Kentucky teammates John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins and Georgia Tech's Derrick Favors likely will go among the top five picks in the upcoming NBA draft. Marshall's Hassan Whiteside, Kentucky's Eric Bledsoe, Kansas' Xavier Henry and Texas' Avery Bradley should get taken later in the first round. Even Kentucky's Daniel Orton - a part-time player in his lone college season - could go in the first half of the opening round.
All those early entries have removed much of the star power from college basketball's sophomore class, but there still are plenty of second-year players who should make an impact in the 2010-11 season.
As we look ahead to 2010-11, we have put together all-star teams for each of the classes. We looked at potential impact freshmen on Monday. Here's a look at our all-sophomore team. The all-junior and all-senior squads will be released later this week.
