I am bitterly disappointed that LSU who I felt going into the game was not as good as Alabama and felt coming out was the better team lost. However, your team came through when it mattered and are deserving winners. There were no controversial calls changing the outcome of this game. I will be pulling for you guys as an SEC brother & I want you to bring home the BCSNC. In my opinion just like last year the only teams in America with enough talent to beat each other in a NC game played last night despite our having lost to a good Florida team. I think he meant 'no-calls'... for the second game in a row against us, Bama was called for only a single penalty.
The only obvious penalty I saw that wasn't called was when D. J. Fluker knocked Mingo to the ground after the play was over, but that was a big no-call.

Bama opponents rank 121st in penalties called AGAINST them. In other words, only 3 teams have fewer penalties called against their opponent than Bama does. If the officials wanted to help Bama, why wouldn't they be calling more penalties on the teams we're playing? Wouldn't that make sense?
It will never happen, but I wouldn't be adverse to a rematch for the NC. I saw the two best teams in college football play each other on Saturday night and like last year's regular season game, it came down to the wire. Congratulations again on playing such a great game and good luck the rest of the way.

Thanks FF for your post. LSU WOOW,they played like LSU and I for one never though this would be a walk in the park. LSU has GREAT GREAT players and they showed it last night. I know your down,but get behing the TIGERS and pull them through. NO wat they will let us ply againafter last year,but we and all the tigher nation know the BEST two team in the country. We came out on top and I'm happy,but ypou guys played the way LSU as always played. Tough,Hardnose football and I'm sure BEAR and Charlie McClendon loved the way the game was played. Good luck the rest of the year and hope you have a great time in T'Town next year when you visit.
One thing is for sure> I just got home from a major surgery on Tuesday at Vanderbilt,and those PAIN PILLS really worked good last night during the game. Kept me calm the whole game,because like I said,I new it was going to be a really close game. Folks that do this point thing was crazy having us a 7 PT or more favorite. Saturday night,LSU stadium. No damn way.
Tough loss,but the game of the year again.
