Die-hard Gamecock fan here who is married to a Louisiana girl and die-hard LSU fan. Looking forward to our game this year. Hoping my Gamecocks can pull one out over you all just to shut her side of the family up. It will be tough but can be done, as we proved to those Bama boys recently. I took the wife the last time we played you guys in Columbia, and kept having to shut her up from cheering for LSU in the midst of a sea of Garnet while LSU wiped the field with us. It was bad...really, really bad, and I thought she was going to get our tails kicked, but my Gamecock brethren put up with her.
You guys are my 2nd fav team, as long as you arent playing my Gamecocks. Looking forward to some gumbo and football this fall.

USCe should be one heck of a game. You have to realize that most of us still love the thought of beating the old ball coach no matter what team colors he wants to wear. His days in Gainsville have put him near the top of our "Love to Hate" list.

LSU fans have been pretty happy go lucky these days so I would have to think that visiting fans should enjoy their Saturday nights in the Valley next season without much foolishness. Good luck with the in-laws. At least they're not Bama fans!!

Oh, I understand your hope of beating Spurrier completely Tri. Its not just the in-laws I have to deal with though. Its the 4 sisters, their husbands and their kids and other relatives! Surprisingly, they didnt give me too much hell the last time we played, but I was awfully quiet about it leading up to it as well. But this time, they are going to be after me about it, and I am sure I will have to do something embarrassing if we do lose that one.
Honestly, the betting man in me says you guys win that one, but the Gamecock fan in me says we pull out the win. We shall see.

Thought our game against LSU would be by far the most difficult, but now, I am not so sure. So I am thinking that if we beat UGaY this weekend, we take you out as well. What say you? And please God. Please let SC beat LSU this year so I dont have to hear it from my Louisiana family all friggin' year long.....
