That was the biggest display of a head coach giving up before the game was even over that I have ever witnessed. It was a display of one head coach (Saban) more determined than another (Miles).
He conceded the game to Bama when he refused to use Jarret Lee. The BCSNC game was in large part lost when the O Line came back from the holidays 50 pounds overweight.
Stevie Wonder could see that JJ was not getting the job done and he chose to stay with him. JJ played the game as if he had been paid to lose the game.
Not saying that we would have won but who knows what spark may have been ignited? We would have won.
