Wright State Preview
Mississippi State is hoping to continue their hot streak tonight taking on Wright State.
The Bulldogs have won four consecutive games with an average margin of victory by 28.8 points posting wins over Old Dominion, St. Bonaventure, DePaul and UCLA. Tipoff for tonight's contest is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Humphrey Coliseum.
MSU has knocked down 37 3-pointers in their last three games as well as holding their opponents to an average of 18.7 points in the first half of those contests.
The Bulldogs have never faced Wright State on the hardwood and have only a 1-4 record all-time against teams from the Horizon League.
State enters tonight's game with a 7-2 record shooting 46.1-percent and averaging 75.8 points per game. The Bulldogs are draining 41.3-percent of their shots from the outside as well as 70.7-percent from the free throw line. They have outrebounded their opponents by 8.2 and are surrendering on average of 58.4 points.
