Tuttle on Iowa's radar for 2011?

After playing at Iowa's Elite Camp this past summer, the Hawkeye coaches have been keeping an eye on 2011 in-state prospect Seth Tuttle. The talented forward prospect made another trip to Iowa City on Sunday to watch the Hawkeyes play at Carver-Hawkeye Arena and enjoyed the experience.

"It is a great opportunity to be here to see Iowa play since I am an Iowan," he said. "I have enjoyed being here today."

The Iowa coaches have been in regular contact with the 6-foot-8 Sheffield, IA native since seeing him during the summer while he was playing for the Iowa Barnstormers AAU team and also at their Elite Camp in early August.

"I've been getting stuff from Iowa and since they are a Big Ten school that is pretty exciting," Tuttle said. "I've been getting things from them in the regular mail and via e-mail from Iowa since this summer and it is fun to be here for a game and see what it is like."

Tuttle already holds scholarship offers from Northern Iowa and South Dakota. This winter he has been to games at Northern Iowa, Wisconsin, and Iowa State. But, the All State forward is going to take his time in the recruiting process and see what happens this summer.

"I'm not ready to commit anywhere yet. I am going to give it some time and get out on the AAU circuit and see what might happen there."

Tuttle will be back out playing basketball competitively again in April once the AAU circuit heats up again, but right now he is still getting over the disappointing end to his junior season.

"We were 22-0 and ranked #3 in the state and then we lost in our district final game by one, so we are done for the year. It was a tough way to end the year."
