Knox overcoming hard knocks
Running back Milton Knox has had his share of hard knocks lately, but instead of moping and hanging his head, he decided to get busy. Knox truly put in the hard work this winter quarter and though his efforts were hit by a stone wall of a defensive line yesterday, this young man won't be held down for long. As hard as he worked on his bettering football talents, he worked even harder on improving as a human being.
"I think it was becoming the a whole new person," Knox said on what his main focus would be during the offseason. "Just being able to sit back and look at everything then go at it full speed. Go at it at 110 percent.
"That's what I did," Knox said. "Being able to go in and talk to the coaches and basically learning the playbook so now I can just go out there and just play.
"That's what I have been doing during spring camp," Knox said. "I have been able to pick up the blitzes on a consistent basis and for all the people who said I couldn't block, I worked becoming a good blocker.
