Clear named to Rivals250 list

Memphis, Tenn., tight end Cameron Clear has long since been considered one of the top prospects in the country.

On Wednesday it was announced that the 6-foot-6, 265-pounder was among the Rivals250 giving him a four-star rating to go along with his numerous scholarship offers.

Clear has picked up offers from the likes of Arkansas, Duke, Louisville, Memphis, Middle Tennessee, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Tennessee thus far.

"Recruiting has been going well," Clear said. "It's kept me very busy. New schools have been coming in and recruiting me. Florida has come in and I've been talking to their coaches. I'm going to try to get down there for their Friday night lights camp."

One school that continues to be in the running for Clear's signature is MSU.

"I'm keeping my options open," Clear said of the Bulldogs. "They have been on me too so they are in the running."

Clear stated that Mississippi State defensive coordinator Manny Diaz came by to see him during spring practice.
