Notebook: Addazio not fazed by booing


If you think the smattering of boos during last week's Florida-LSU game at Florida Field got to Gators offensive coordinator Steve Addazio, think again.

He claimed Tuesday he didn't even notice them.

"I really don't pay much attention to any of that stuff," Addazio said. "You're locked into the game. I'll tell you, what I really hear during that game is just the energy from the game. I've got so much going on."

Entering Saturday night's home game against Mississippi State, the Gators (4-2 overall, 2-2 in the Southeastern Conference) are averaging 323.67 yards per game to rank only 96th nationally in total offense. Additionally, they're 91st in first downs, 87th in red zone offense, 79th in pass efficiency and 73rd in tackles for loss allowed.
