Kentucky has one of the most prolific offenses in the Southeastern Conference averaging 428.5 yards and 34.8 points per game.

But the Wildcats record sits at 4-4 mainly due to one problematic issue - turnovers. UK has dropped dropped four of its last five contests giving up the football 10 times to their opponents in those defeats.

"It's not difficult to put your finger on what's the difference with our football team in wins and losses," said Kentucky head coach Joker Phillips. "In our four wins we have not turned the football over and in our four losses we have turned the ball over 10 times. We have not created a lot of turnovers in our four losses, only three. In our four wins we have created eight turnovers so it's not hard to pinpoint the winning and losing here at Kentucky."

The Wildcats gaudy offensive numbers are a credit in large to junior Randall Cobb. The former quarterback turned receiver has accounted for 1,327 all-purpose yards and 12 touchdowns on the year.
