Distance no issue for McCullough
With a 40-yard dash time clocked around 4.48 seconds, its obvious how Royal Palm Beach (FL) wide receiver prospect has elite speed.
Having played both wide receiver and cornerback at the prep level, Tremane McCullough is slowly starting to carve his niche into the minds of a few college coaches.
Count Wisconsin's staff, which is looking at McCullough as a wide receiver, in.
"I feel great about them so far," McCullough told BadgerBlitz.com earlier this week. "I know a couple of people from around my area who got into Wisconsin. They seem kind of good up there so that's the type of offer I'd like to go to."
McCullough, who says he is familiar with current Badgers Zach Brown and Peniel Jean, also claims he doesn't have an issue moving that far away from home.
Even if the state schools, particularly the heavy hitters in Florida State, Florida and Miami came calling?
"It doesn't really matter," McCullough said. "I would move out of state because I like to start in a new environment and try to get away. It doesn't really matter."
At this juncture in his recruitment, McCullough only has two offers -Kansas and Wisconsin - and it seems like a visit to the Dairy State may be something the 5-foot-8 burner would be interested in.
"I would probably visit," McCullough said.
Though his Royal Palm Beach prep team struggled this past season, McCullough said he's the type of player that doesn't take a play off.
"I go hard every down," McCullough said. "I do all I can do because I'm all for my team. I'm a leader and kids look at me because I'm the leader on my team and I'm going into my senior year."
