Cottrell ready for Oregon visit

The Oregon Ducks have a lot going on this Saturday. College GameDay is coming to town, as are the Arizona State Sun Devils. Not to be lost in all the excitement is Oregon's biggest recruiting weekend of the year, including Lone Star State standout Bryce Cottrell.

Duck Sports Authority caught up with Rivals #45-ranked defensive end to get his thoughts on the upcoming trip.

This will not be Cottrell's first time to Eugene, having attended the Oregon coaches' camp this past summer. This time the Rivals three-star prospect wants to meet the people. "I am looking forward to just getting to be with the players and talking with Coach Pellum and Chip Kelly. I want to see how I fit in with other players to see if it's the school for me."

One of Oregon's key facilities is of course the football field itself, which Cottrell has practiced on if front of empty stands. That will not be the case on Saturday.
