Redmond ready to visit

One of Mississippi State's top commitments will be on campus this weekend as four-star prospect Will Redmond takes his official visit to Starkville.

Redmond has made numerous trips to campus over the last year so this visit will allow him become more acquainted with his future home.

"I'm just expecting to have a good time," Redmond said. "I've been down there a lot and pretty much feel like I'm already there. I guess I'm just going to go chill with my people."

Redmond committed to the Bulldogs on Aug. 1 and has continued building a strong relationship with the coaches and players inside the football program.

"It's grown," Redmond said. "I pretty much talk to all the coaches. I've talked to every coach on the staff from the managers to the head coach. Our relationship has just grown. I know everybody that has something to do with the football program. I pretty much know all the players and my relationship has grown with the players too."

The Memphis, Tenn., native has already taken an official visit to Georgia on Dec. 16 and is unsure when or if he will take any more trips before signing day. Redmond originally had trips planned for Vanderbilt on Jan. 20 and Tennessee on Jan. 27 but a new offer from Ohio State could factor in to that schedule.
