Brown enjoys official visit
Frederick Brown made his commitment to Mississippi State back in the summer.
Over the weekend he took his official visit to spend some time with his Bulldog family and get to know his future surrounding even better.
"It went alright and I had fun," Brown said. "We went out to eat and went over to Coach (Dan) Mullen's house and played a little basketball. They had paintball so we were shooting paintballs. Then we went out with the players."
Brown was also impressed Saturday afternoon when he and the rest of the recruits walked into Humphrey Coliseum during the second half of the Alabama men's basketball game and received a standing ovation from the crowd.
"It was amazing for everybody to give you a standing ovation knowing that you are there to come play football for them," Brown said. "They will all be at the game watching you perform."
The three-star wide receiver was hosted by Joe Morrow, a freshman receiver who was in Brown's shoes a year ago.
