Leadership By Committee For LB's

Replacing graduated seniors is a part of every college football camp in America right now. Most replace multiple starters each year. With the Houston Cougars it is no different, they replace multiple starters on each side of the ball this fall. One departed player that stands out from a leadership standpoint is departed middle linebacker Marcus McGraw who is now chasing his dreams with the Arizona Cardinals.

McGraw was a four year starter at Houston and set numerous records in his consistently dominating career with the Cougars. His leadership role on the team was also extremely valuable and will be a tough one to replace. So tough in fact there will likely be a leadership by committee approach by the current crop of linebackers.
