Speight improving his game and Team 135
When Richmond (Va.) Collegiate School quarterback Wilton Speight committed to Michigan, he was something of an unknown commodity among Wolverine fans. He visited once in the fall, so the interest was known, but his junior film was sparse, so his game couldn't be thoroughly evaluated.
What a difference two weeks can make. Now, the 6-6, 220-pounder has had his game analyzed back to front - and it's become apparent he's pretty good, with quarterbacks guru Steve Clarkson raving about his skills and the Under Armour All-America Game already extending an invitation. Speight can make all the throws, the most important piece when it comes to picking a quarterback.
