Texas commitment is solid as a rock
With a population of less than 5,000, it's hard to imagine that Gilmer, Texas could possibly be one of the biggest hotbeds of football talent in the Lone Star State, but if you consider that the town's population has seemingly doubled this month because of an influx of college coaches, then you'll know that this small East Texas town is a happening spot.
The top headliner at Gilmer High has been Texas cornerback commitment Curtis Brown.
Indeed, Brown is much more concerned with improving budding on-field chemistry with quarterback G.J. Kinne, who not only just moved in from Canton High, but also joins Brown as one of the top-rated prospects in the 2007 recruiting class.
Brown hasn't received any new offers since committing to Texas.
