Georgia defensive end picks up Clemson offer

On Tuesday, Jackson, Ga., defensive end Neland Ball added an offer to his collection, a full ride from Clemson following a conversation with Clemson outside linebackers coach Ron West.

The 6-foot-5, 220-pound pass-rusher already carries offers from Auburn, Ole Miss and Kentucky, and on Tuesday he said offers from Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee could be forthcoming.

"My coach told me that I had an offer from Clemson. He gave me a number to call coach West, so I called him and he told me they were watching more film of me and liked it, so they offered," Ball told Tuesday night. "He told me they wanted to see me on campus, so I told him I would come up. I think coach West is coming down to the school on Thursday."
