Yriarte back from recruiting road trip

Junior Days and unofficial visits are the new fad in college football recruiting. Cory Yriarte recently returned home from a road trip in which he visited four programs that have been showing early interest in him. The 6-foot-2, 290-pound offensive lineman from Lancaster (Calif.) took time out to talk with Rivals.com about his recent visits.

"I checked out Colorado, Washington, Washington State and Cal," Yriarte explained. "Colorado was the only Junior Day that I went to."

In addition to the aforementioned programs, Yriarte is drawing recruiting interest from San Diego State, USC and Northwestern.

An all-league selection last season, Yriarte recorded roughly 80 pancake blocks.
