State's top linebacker sees Bowden, Swinney

Lake City athlete Scotty Cooper bagged another big offer on Thursday, a full ride from LSU, following a visit to his school from Tiger assistant Doug Mallory.

"That was big. When LSU offered, that was big," Cooper said. "They're big time, and they have a great football program."

"Coach Swinney was in the office with my coach talking to him, then coach Amato walked in, and it was all four coaches in there at the same time," Cooper told in a Thursday night interview. "Coach Bowden told my coach he was ready to see me up there on an unofficial visit again. Coach Amato told him the same. They want me back on their campus again."
