Minnesota star has Spartan offer

The state of Minnesota always seems to have two or three blue-chips prospects that everyone in the Big Ten is interested in. For the class of 2007 one of those players is Broderick Binns of Cretin-Durham High School.

The 6-foot-2, 222-pound Binns is being recruited by pretty much everyone in the Midwest and already holds offers from Michigan State, Minnesota, Iowa State, Missouri, Kansas State and Arizona State. In addition to those schools, Notre Dame, Wisconsin and Iowa are also actively involved.
