Koenning, Clemson offer Alabama defensive tackle

Last week was a fruitful one for a handful of Mobile, Ala., prospects, at least where Clemson is concerned.


As Tigerillustrated.com documented on the Esso Club message board last week, Clemson offered three Mobile prospects in UMS-Wright wide receiver Brandon Gibson, Ryan Williams, a cornerback from B.C. Rain, and teammate Rodney Hudson.


The 6-foot-3, 285-pound Hudson works as both an offensive lineman and a defensive lineman. For Clemson, its staff is going after the Mobile product for defense.


"I got offered by Clemson, West Virginia and South Florida last week. West Virginia wants me as a left tackle and Clemson and South Florida want me as a defensive tackle," Hudson told Tigerillustrated.com in a recent interview. "I don't really have a preference with the two. I'm up in the air. I'm undecided. I play both with no problem."
