FSU hoping for 'Devine' intervention

This is definitely the year of the running back in the state of Florida. The Sunshine State boasts a half dozen elite prospects but based on his scouting video Noel Devine has no equal. The buzz since his amazing video highlights hit the Internet over a year ago is that he is headed to either FSU or Miami. However, at this point the North Fort Myers superstar isn't thinking that far in advance. Spring football just ended so Devine will now spend more time focus on recruiting, something he's been dealing with since he was a freshman.

"We're going to sit down and narrow down the list," said North Ft. Myers Head Coach James Iandoli, "Then we'll see what he wants to do camp wise."

So where does FSU rank among Devine's top teams?

"From talking to Odell and Sexton, they do a great job," said Iandoli. "Obviously FSU will be one of his choices when it comes down to it. That's what I think. He (Noel) said nice things about them. Anytime you mention the Florida schools, those are his main choices. He does want to take his visits. He hasn't been out of state so he wants to see what's out there. He's going to decide what's best for Noel the person, not Noel the football player."
