Auburn an early leader for South Florida DB?

With commitments from Hawkinsville, Ga.. High's Dequan Bembry and most recently Tallahassee, Fla.. Lincoln's Mike Slade, Auburn will be looking to add at least two more defensive backs in the 2007 signing class.


One of the top targets to fill one of the vacancies is Lauderdale Lakes, Fla.. Boyd Anderson cornerback Moses Jenkins.


Jenkins, a big cornerback at 6-foot-2, 170 pounds, has already picked up an early offer from the Tigers. And judging from his childhood allegiances, he may end up taking them up on it.


"I've liked Auburn since I was a little kid," he said. "And in the past year, they have had some really good defensive backs. I'd like to keep that going."
