Garcia has two leaders - another closing fast

Although during most interviews Tampa, Fla., Jefferson dual-threat quarterback Stephen Garcia declares himself open among several colleges, it hasn't exactly been a well kept secret that Florida and South Carolina are out in front of the pack.


The 6-foot-3, 212-pounder, who will be in the initial Rivals100 when it is released later today, spoke about his current leader board.


"Florida and South Carolina are kind of ahead of the rest, but not that far," replied Garcia when asked if there was a leader. "It could still go either way. I've felt real comfortable with the two of them. At South Carolina I got along with the players and coaches. Florida is real close to home and I've been there more times than anywhere else."
